I was at Miramar with my young son and he was looking at the C17-A and it was so big he asked “how did they get that here?” I replied “it can fly so it flew in”. He said “oh yeah”, in amazement. I wish I had been able to capture that in a photo. But words will have to suffice.

This sounds like my 10 yr grandson, the times we wished we had a camera.

Don't stop Love them all JD750 nice all of them! Bob

Thank you Bob! Ok one more.

This one is not technically great but, for me at least, it is emotional. It was the last flight of Discovery as it was being shuttled to the LA Science Museum in 2012-Setpember. They few over where I work. I think pretty much everybody was outside watching. For me, it was sad to see the end of our manned space program.

I wonder if Mike Hopkins and Karen Nyberg know the USA no longer has a manned space program.

Great series Harry, I once enjoyed a ride in a Cessna 150.

Catching the 747 with Discovery banking sets it apart from the predictable, and the chase planes add a nice touch too.
