This one is not technically great but, for me at least, it is emotional. It was the last flight of Discovery as it was being shuttled to the LA Science Museum in 2012-Setpember. They few over where I work. I think pretty much everybody was outside watching. For me, it was sad to see the end of our manned space program.

Ford Tri motor. My mother went for a ride in one of these over Grand Traverse Bay when she was a young girl.

Catching the 747 with Discovery banking sets it apart from the predictable, and the chase planes add a nice touch too.
