I was at Miramar with my young son and he was looking at the C17-A and it was so big he asked “how did they get that here?” I replied “it can fly so it flew in”. He said “oh yeah”, in amazement. I wish I had been able to capture that in a photo. But words will have to suffice.

Local airport had a fly-in breakfast last Sunday 2 miles east. So I decided to load up the telephoto and practice my panning technique. I was right under their pattern just to the east. Most taken to the western sky. Canon T6 Rebel with EF 75-300mm III lens mostly shot in Manual shutter speed 1000 aperture 5.6 ISO 100
