Check out the new MindShare packs from ThinkTank. They have real back pack straps and lumbar padding. They are beautifully made and ingeniously designed--obviously by real photographers. Mine opens from the back for access to gear. I can swing the pack around to my front side while keeping the waist belt fashioned. I don't have to take it off to get something. There are also plenty of storage pockets on the front of the pack. And I chose a green one so it looks like a day pack and not a camera pack.

Yeah, but how much does it weigh empty and loaded?

I really don't remember how much it weighs empty, perhaps a few ounces more than my Lowe pack with far less padding. As for loaded, well that depends on what I put in it! In any case, carrying a heavy load is so much more comfortable with the design and padded comfort of this pack. I would never trade back to my albeit less expensive LowePro pack.

Looking to acquire a new backpack for my two cameras and 4 lenses. Cost, size, and comfort are certainly factors with me.
HG, this is my everyday pack.
It will fit two bodies and and four lenses plus other assorted gear. But it depends on the lenses.
It’s very lightweight and comfortable to wear. I use it up to 12 hours a day for weeks.
I have bigger and badder packs(way over $200) but this is my favorite.
I’ve used it professionally for 10 years and it’s held up with 20 pounds in it.
Check it out! Good luck

I just got a LowePro 500AW II for 177.00. This thing holds a lot of stuff and when I got through filling it up it is heavy, but holds just about all I could need on a trip. FF Camera,
70-200, 24-70, 24-105, 16-35, 50 1.8, EX600 flash, remote trigger, batteries, filters, travel tripod, charger and other trinkets. I have a smaller pack to use when I am just going on a specific shoot and don't need everything and the kitchen sink.
