they are beautiful trees, cathyann. he said the roots are destructive and would cause problems.
they are not trashy at all in my opinion. the hummingbirds and butterflies love them.

Nice shots, MT! I have a batch of these trees, plant them every chance I get, tho they often fail to survive our harsh winters, as we're at the northern limit of their range. Most delicious scent when they bloom!

Thank you rob...I think you would like them...they are so colorful, they smell good, and hummingbirds love them as well as butterflies and skippers.

Thank you tp. I would love to have a batch of them, but I wouldn't have to plant them...they just pop up all over the yard out here .
