i love mimosa trees; don hates them...so he cut down the ones
in our yard. I recently found some at sam's bird sanctuary
to enjoy.

How can he hate them!! My mother had one in her yard for years and years and then it just died.... I love them, but don't have any, so seeing your lovely set brought back such memories... thanks Merry!!

I LOVE them, Merry! Just one of those wonderful things that bring back fond childhood memories like clover chains, running around barefooted, swimming in the creek, getting dirty as possible and pitchers of lemonade. Beeeuuutiful shots...and we used to call them powder puff trees. lol

I don't know angela...he says their root system is invasive and can lift and crack the concrete. Our huge mimosa tree just came up beside our driveway. We didn't plant it. I'm glad you enjoyed the mimosa shots. The concrete was cracked long before the mimosa grew up.

Those were the good old carefree days.i did all of that too donna, except there were no creeks around my small and dry hometown. We had a ball playing in the puddles after it rained though.

Thank you earl! We had 2 others grow 3 or 4 feet tall. Then I went outside one evening and they were both gone...lol. I gave up having a mimosa.lol.
