my favorite of all is shot no. 5 of that cute little bird on the barbed wire.

i enjoyed the entire set and variety of birdie shots, vicki...good job!

Thank you Val. Birds and flowers make up most of my subjects when I go for a hike with the dogs.

Thanks so much Jack. Most of the birds I see on my hikes are quite small. I'd love to see an osprey or an eagle.

I think that bird had just had a bath. It looked a bit wet and disheveled. Thanks for letting me know you enjoyed this group Merry. I appreciate it.

My dogs drive me crazy. Just as I get the camera lined up, one of them gives me a tug. I've solved the problem a bit by using retractable leashes fastened to a belt. That leaves my hands free for the camera. Fortunately neither of them is large enough to pull me over.
