This is a great photo of a beautiful pair of legs and firm butt.
I was a lucky father of the bride when I had an embarrassing moment. While on the dance floor, my tux trousers feel down past my underpants. I pulled them up quickly. As far as I know, very few people saw the moment. Thankfully the photographers were busy shooting my daughter elsewhere. While embarrassed, I would have had a chuckle at any photos I saw. None shown to me. I hope that means none taken.

As I got older I realized embarrassing happenings, frustrations with things going wrong, etc. are really opportunities for great stories later like you just told. My wife & I travel often (internationally) and when something doesn't go smoothly, in the middle of dealing with it, one of us will often say "great story coming" and it makes it go better, especially if I have pictures!

As a well-known travel writer (can't remember the name) once said, the only bad trip is one that ends in death. All the other "bad" things are experiences that, as you say, become great stories. On our 3-month trip through the Sahara by Land Rover we had 8 flat tires, a broken leaf spring, an engine fire, we almost ran out of fuel despite having 17 Jerrycans along, my wife had diarrhea for 10 days, and we were robbed 4 times. It was a GREAT trip!!!

So everything went smoothly - glad to hear. (Okay, you had me at 8 flat tires, kept me hooked thru 4 robberies. What did you have to give them by your 4th???)

OK, 3 robberies and a close call, but it's a better story to just say 4 and then explain. The first was a suitcase taken off the roof rack while at a fuel station and while we were not looking. The second was my wife's camera taken out of the vehicle from one side as I was changing a tire on the other side. They had actually punctured the tire and followed me until I changed it. The third time was a money changing sleight of hand trick where they palmed money as they counted out the exchange amount. They are VERY good at this, as they consider it their job, so they practice, practice, practice. The almost-robbery was when our tent was slashed as we were sleeping in it. Nothing was taken from us, but a neighbouring tenter had her backpack stolen (clothes, money, passport, ID, etc). The poor girl actually grabbed the pack as it was being taken and was dragged out through the slash in her tent, but she finally let go of the pack.

Want to hear about my really great trip to Colombia where my wallet was stolen out of my fanny pack?

Yep, visited about 90 countries so far and enjoyed every trip despite the minor inconveniences.

Snapshot does not belong in this section but not sure which it does so here it is - shot back in the 1970s. I had already done the traditional cutting of the cake, toast, first dance, etc shots. I was just cruising the dance floor, camera at side, looking for photo ops when this groomsman caught my eye. He lifted the mini-dress for a second of this unaware girl and I swung the camera up and snapped, not even getting it to viewfinder level or taking time to fully focus. It is one of the worse photos I ever took during my wedding shooting era, yet one of my favorites because of the look on his face in that very instant.

NOTE: I believe I have come to an end of photos I have posted in this area, having gone through the boxes marked 1970 and 1980. Anything else I have in Nudes worth posting may be on Kodachrome cardboard mounted slides, residing in 80 and 140 capacity Kodak Carousel trays. Maybe this winter, when I have more time, I will fire up the Kodak 750H Carousel projector if it works (haven't used for 25 years) and take a look. Hope you have enjoyed the walk back in time, even if the photography has left much to be desired.
