This jaw-dropping behavior is NEVER gonna stop as long as trump occupies the White House and trump's die-hard followers continue to believe that there isn't anything wrong with his lying and cheating ways or his egregious actions.

Trump Lawyers Reveal He "Dictated" Misleading Statement On Son's Russian Meeting
__________

The president devised the smokescreen over the Trump Tower huddle, according to the letter The New York Times obtained.

The bombshell 20-page letter written by Donald Trump's attorneys to special counsel Robert Mueller early this year and obtained by The New York Times Saturday includes the intriguing revelation that the president "dictated" the misleading statement about Donald Trump Jr.'s controversial meeting with a Russian representative during the 2016 election.

The president's letter on the meeting could cause him problems if it's seen as an attempt to obstruct Mueller's investigation into possible Russia collusion with his campaign.

It could also cause problems for Trump's son, who testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee last September that he didn't have a clear idea who was responsible for the misleading statement about the meeting being focused on the adoption issue.

Problem for Trump.
Why did he dictate the letter, why did he lie about dictating the letter; and why are his lawyers making the concession at this time?

I think you're right - - I believe I just recently heard Rudy make that claim as a good reason why trump's lawyers should advise him not submit to a Mueller interview or subpoena...

"The White House just got caught in a lie about the infamous Trump Tower Meeting "

"Let's not over-complicate this: President Donald Trump and his legal team lied about the statement from Donald Trump Jr. in the wake of The New York Times reporting about a June 2016 Trump Tower meeting between the President's eldest son and several Russians.
Think that's an overstatement? Let's go through this."

Trump's going to have to dump Rudy eventually and get a real lawyer, maybe some public defender would apply! :)

Giuliani might have been brought on as a PR mouthpiece, but he's become a PR nightmare.

I think trump's gonna need a TEAM of CRIMINAL defense lawyers - - and do you think the cost might lead to his financial undoing ???

Dear SS, RIGHT ON !!!

I was going to suggest that you try to "watch your language" because I originally posted this in GCC, hoping for a moderate approach, and more viewing on the subject.

However, we've been moved to to The Attic, so all bets are off, and Anything Goes !!!

WRITE ON SS !!!

Yeah but, that was then and this is now...

I wonder how many of today's lawyers, knowing what we now know, would accept a trump job without requiring upfront money...

I'd guess zero but the money issue is being taken care of by the RNC, I think. Other attorneys just don't want Trump for a client because he lies and doesn't listen to them. Rudy's the same way but two peas in a pod. :)
