:) My point exactly. is it really worth putting your life and even worse, other peoples lives at risk. I am assuming the recovery was risky. Emergency staff had to put themselves in a dangerous situation. I said my piece already so I'd best move on. Grrrrr!

Life is full of risks and dangers. Everyday we place ourselves at risk in Automobile travel. Some people live their whole life in fear and miss out on life itself. I agree with your last sentence. I also know that a that one slight distraction and this girl would have been nothing but a memory. Drop her cell phone, a slip of her foot or hand or her bag slips off her shoulder. Living on the edge is good if you are prepared and trained for it. This girl wasn't any of those.
