Oh, I offered no partisan opinion; I just passed along an interesting article by a noted professor from Columbia University.

I did select the Attic for very good reasons. It wasn’t posted there; I have sent a request to UHH to relocate the post as I had intended.

Thank you for responding reasonably to the various posts. The article was an interesting perspective, but as you say, the attic may be a better place for it as a result of some of the less savory responses that are being made. Regardless of one's political feelings there is seldom a good reason for the level of nastiness or snide commentary that is being made. Especially as you made an effort to keep it non partisan in the thread title. Sadly we have an overabundance of small minded people on UHH at times.
