Absolutely some of your best work I believe. The gorilla photos are beautiful in their exposure and sharpness as well as the composition. Very well done sir.

Thank you dennis2146, Gampa! The winter of 2016 was another cold one in the Chicago area. I remember the images with the gorillas in Jan / Feb occurring when I was virtually alone with animals for 20+ minutes at a time. Setting up a tripod and long lens and watching and shooting was a lot of fun.

I follow your posts and you truly have a great command of your camera and an eye for composing images that draw people into them. These are outstanding captures as always. I also enjoy the educational information which helps me know more about these amazing creatures and why it is so important for all of us to protect them.
