I seem to recall seeing cartoons as a child where some character would pull the tongue of a villain and watch it roll up like a window shade. This fellow certainly had a long tongue.

I was looking for something a little more whimsical. Owners might not appreciate these less than flattering shots, however. I was shooting from a distance with a long lens, so I doubt they were actually sticking their tongues out at me. LOLMany thanks my friend.

Thanks so much Luigi. It was one of our recent warm, sunny days. I think most of them had done a bit of chasing each other, and I managed to snap a few shots when they paused long enough to catch their breath. I've been going to "Rocky Dog Park" at the south end of Petaluma for many of my dog photos. It's spacious and has a nice atmosphere.
