Great picture and I as well have ridden and operated those old implements, its funny when my fathers parents made the switch from horse to farmall F20 they still used the horse drawn implements, so what had been a one person and team of horses job became a two person job a person on the tractor and a person on the implement. And we still have the old F20 but not those implements.

Thank you for the kind words, it is much appreciated. I think we were blessed in a special way to have lived through that
"transition period". It is doubtful that anyone could have envisioned riding in a heated/air conditioned cab with music and GPS.

I pulled one that was converted to a short tongue, with an old Farmall H. Thanks for the comment.

My Dad did exactly that. He had a team of work horses and used a mower like the one shown, then bought a tractor and converted the mower to a short tongue. Ah, the memories!

Interesting, I haven't seen that before.

Thanks Jim, and thanks for your shots and the history of the wall. I got distracted (phone) and when I returned, for some reason I could not find the posting. (my technical abilities are pitiful ). I am a history buff and especially love articles concerning the British Isles. You are appreciated!

You have to have grown up in that period of time Karen, it came and went so fast! Thanks for looking in.

My laugh for the day "Sandy". Thank you for noticing and mentioning the composition, that is encouraging Sylvia, because you always put time and effort into your images. Speaking for myself, it is the struggle to learn that keeps me going in spite of age! Take care.

So sorry Phil, I had just come off the phone talking to a friend called Jeff! I have noticed you improving with your compositions over time. Now if only I could improve getting names right.
