I guess I am an Idiot,,,my name and location are not posted on UHH and the pictured Gear is not that expensive,,,plus I have a Safe, an Alarm System, a Dog, a Concealed Carry Permit and live around the corner from a Police Station,,,so I apologize for offending anyone,,,I have seen pictures of Members Gear before by Members on UHH and if not pictures then descriptions of the Gear used to take the shot so in a way that detracts from your rational about security and posting pictures online,,,and you are more than Welcome to call me an Idiot as after Viet Nam I have no feelings and operate on Logic only,,,,However the Moderator is more than Welcome to Delete this thread....Thanks....

Spot on! Most of us simply ignore Jimmy Bobby, because rarely does he have anything substantive to contribute to the forum.

Why would anyone but an idiot advertise his/her gear on a public forum so that everyone, including criminals, can see it? Oh sorry. For a moment, I forgot this is UHH.

This forum needs candor, honesty, and the occasional ungracious comment.
The polite, always-agreeable contributions do little to incite meaningful discussion.
Gathering my gear, and taking a group shot of it, to be posted; is not my cup of tea either.
Kumbaya.

That's the best response in this thread so far.

Candor, honesty and the occasional ungracious comments only work if they are helpful and encourage people to improve. Name calling is just rude and inconsiderate no matter what the subject matter.

Love the film camera shots. Also love the glass of beer in the F100 shot.

Well stated! For a few, insulting is 'their cup of tea'.

Thanks, but no thanks, I do not wish to show a picture of my gear. I do not own a lens wide enough to include it all, sorry I must decline.

Try stacking it.

I apologize for offending anyone,,,

Society is way to quick to apologize to people for their lack of manners, or lack of social skills. Not liking your comment is not the issue, the way JB responded was uncalled for.
If anyone was offended by your post, then they have a problem.

Did it make you feel better in calling the guy an idiot? He is proud of his selection of cameras he chose for his upcoming travels. If you do not agree with his choice of cameras that is OK. But calling him a idiot is not. Happy shooting.

I do not brag about thousands of dollars worth of gear. It would take a half page. I let my work sell my services.
