At the end of the day it is those in power that have ANY say whether we decide to vote or not. Personally, I would like to go back in time and give Guy Fawkes a nuke !!! I would also allot Oliver Cromwell all of our Elite fighting forces............brutal yes, but they were men with vision, i fear its too late now because money has its evil grip and as we know.............money equals POWER !!!
Maybe I'm naive but I thought I had a say in whether I decide to to vote or not. It's seemed to worked that way for years now.
Yes you have a right to vote on those chosen by those in power. Get rid of the lawyers and millionaires. Why 2 parties? Why not 4 or 44?

A very succinct and valid point. Every four years we have the right to choose between two candidates, both of them financed by plutocratic interests.

115 people lost there jobs in Miami, Oklahoma do to stupid people winning stupid law suites that should have been thrown out. They were making gas cans, but not now, too many stupid law suites by stupid people. One law suite [that won] was because this idiot poured gas out of that gas can onto a fire and burn himself up. And there were several law suites like this one. I say too bad, so sad. Let the stupid genes get weeded out. But the judges award people for there stupidity. Where has common sense gone?

Plaintiffs have the right to a jury trial in any civil case, so verdicts should not be up to the discretion of judges. Due process cannot guarantee justice; only the bast chance for it.

Let me also add that only a very tiny percentage of malpractice and other damage-seeking law suits ever make it to court. most of the time when a corporation or a professional practitioner harms someone, the person is out of luck, and sometimes dead. A favorite right wing tactic is to seek out and to distort the cases where it seems that the lawsuit was frivolous, yet won. The purpose is "tort reform," which is intended severely to limit the amount of damage that could be sought to a negligible sum compared to the harm the person suffered.
