I'm not sure if you took this picture but it is absolutely outstanding. I have now idea how it was shot or what it might have looked like live. Just love it. I found that if I reduced the vibrance slider it would introduce a maroon red cast in the sky and lake, interesting. I have a very slight amount in this rendition. Thanks again for your efforts in helping us with editing.

Here's my shot at it. I attempted to maintain the texture of the fabric in the balloon, as well.

Here is a dull composite image. Your challenge is to get the colors to be bold and bright to give the image impact.

1. The blacks to be black, black, black.

2. The sky above the sea is dark to mid blue and stars are bright.

3. The sea reflects the sky.

4. The balloon to have bright bold colors. No pale bright colors. Aim for strong bold colors.

Have fun.

Well done, Tatia. So many things are close to perfect. However, there should be more stars in the sky; the balloon should be brighter. Don't be concerned about pushing the colors. You can always ease off on the sliders when things look less than perfect. 5 thumbs for an almost there effort.

That is an outstanding shot, Bob. Watch out for color changes around the sun and on the sea. This means you were a little too enthusiastic with one or more of your adjustment filters. All in all a worthy 5 thumbs.
