Here is a dull composite image. Your challenge is to get the colors to be bold and bright to give the image impact.

1. The blacks to be black, black, black.

2. The sky above the sea is dark to mid blue and stars are bright.

3. The sea reflects the sky.

4. The balloon to have bright bold colors. No pale bright colors. Aim for strong bold colors.

Have fun.

You didn't say how bright....

This was interesting to work on. Just about every slider did something vivid.

Good start, R.G. You were so stunned by the magic of strong, bold colors that you forgot the stars needed to be bright, too. The white area below the balloon should contain detail even if that detail is a very pale yellow or gold color. I'm not going to mark it because you will produce a great image after this little reminder.

Good work, Revet. A super interpretation. (Watch out for the big white area under the balloon. Check what others have done.)
You get 5 thumbs.

That looks good, rborud. It works well with the heavy blacks and flipping the image. (Watch out for the discoloration on the panels of the balloon.)
You get 5 thumbs for clever thinking. No marks for border.

Very effective and unusual, SoHillGuy. On clicking download, the black is almost overpowering. The stars are bright, but some have disappeared. I would like to have seen more of the water. All in all it is a different concept. It has to be 5 thumbs!
