Kings Park Psych Center Revisited... Part 2
Nice ones again, Angela. I’ve always wanted to do a series of photos like this.
Well shot set of this creepy place Angela. I like the shots of the screened in porch. Good explanation of the place and a great link. We will be getting heavy rain here in Texas and we hear you guys will be getting some s&@#. i can't even bear to spell the word let alone say it or shovel it.

Oh mercy! I just read the info about the brain surgery. What a house of horrors! Wonderful shots, Angela. Wouldn't you just love to 'tour' the inside to add to the images you have of the exterior!!
Donna, I watched the video and that brain surgery was 'state of the art' back then!! My head hurt watching it!! I'd love to go inside and I'd pay if they gave tours... but because of the asbestos, there are some that sneak in and share the shots... they're so sad, but amazing!! Glad you enjoyed these... I think I only have one set to share and I might have to go back!!

Glad you enjoyed these, Bill.... I would love to, even pay to, be able to get inside one of those buildings.. but that's not happening!

These shots convey a feeling of what this place was. You did a fine job on these Angela.
Many thanks, Marty... it is an experience for sure and you always see people walking around... have you ever been??

John, come visit LI and I'll take you... it is unreal and if you looked at the link and the video I attached, you'd be blown away at how it was, what went on and how it is now... so very sad!! Glad you enjoyed!!
Your pictures are excellent my friend. In its time this facility must have been great looking as well as state of the art. Happily there are better ways now to treat those with mental problems. Unhappily we have too may who need help who are not getting it. The film of the vandalized interior is a disgrace to all who indulge in it. Now I'll get off my soap box.....

Thanks Doc for your comments and I'm glad you looked at the link... I was amazed with the info and watching the video, now that was creepy!!
All we've been getting is rain and grey skies... today the sun actually was out for a while and you heard right... they're saying that white stuff might fall, but seeing is believing!! When are you coming home?? The temps are supposed to get warm again, so it will melt fast!
Hope you're having a great time!!

Thanks, Sylvia and glad you enjoyed this set.... that info and video was really something else and thankfully that's all in the past, but back then, those procedures were considered state of the art in medicine!!
Enjoy the weekend and your trip!!
