Take a look at the Sony RX10 IV. I like a camera with a view finder. I have had the RX100 and it does a great job, but no view finder. At 72 I tend to shake a little and without a view finder it is hard to keep steady and tripods are not always possible, especially for street photography. Good luck.
I too just came back from Morocco (coincidence?). I have 2 Sony bridge cameras, RX10 4 and RX100 4. This was the first time I took the RX 10 4 since it is a new camera in the marketplace. The telephoto is fantastic. But is it much bigger than the RX100 4. I am very pleased with both bridge cameras. The RX 100 4 is much less obvious and almost as good as the RX 10. I chose the bridge cameras because I don’t want to carry around lenses on a tour.
By the way, both RX 10 4 and RX 100 4 have viewfinders.
Being fairly new at this craft - can someone please explain what is meant by the term bridge camera?

I had no idea, thanks for letting us know.

A bridge camera
Bridges the gap between a small point & shoot camera and a larger DSLR.
They usually have a larger optical zoom range like you can get for a DSLR but not interchangeable lenses.
Someone’s review of the “Best” bridge cameras
HERE.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX100 tops this list despite a shorter zoom range.
Personally, I love my Fuji X-E2 for travel, but the LX-100 was looking really good.
The Fuji is not really pocketable, but I use a Nikon D810 kit for work, so the Fuji is a walk in the park.

Thank you.

Cheers!
I think that is a matter of opinion. After selling my Nikon FF gear I have travelled extensively by car, bus, train, plane and boat with my Fuji XT-2 and three of its small, sharp lenses.

The Fujifilm X-T2 is, at the moment, Fuji’s flagship camera, but it is too large and bulky for travel use.
