Carol, you gave your editing software too much credit for making everything good. Although we rely on editing software to touch up some stuff, a good eye, acceptable equipment and a decent subject is what counts.

Beautiful shots Carol, Deland is only about an hour South of Fleming Island so I will have to stop in when down that way. Thanks for the tip and sharing .

Very sharp and colorful. Our Botanical Center will not allow tripods but monopods are okay. That's unfortunate for the best shooting. Don Z.

Thank you! I’m really glad you liked them! You can google the grower or I’d be glad to PM you the address. Deland is also a very nice little town with a lot of street art and neat old buildings.

Don, that would be fine. I’m always open to ways to improve and learn something along the way. Feel free to post it here if you like. I know on a couple of these I tried upping the contrast but felt it darkened the flowers too much. I’m looking foreward to seeing what you do.

I took the second yellow flower and did a quick bit of brightening that I think improves it quite a bit. With more time it could probably be improved more. I knew I wasn't really happy with it but didn't take the time to see why.
