Hi Shakey - here is my effort.

Rathyatra, the night sky is fine. This would have been good but you got way too much purple/blue light on the snow, rooftops, and buildings. The image was to be lit by the street lights only. What happened to your crop? You get three thumbs my friend.

Ok I thought I would give it a shot. I can always use the practice.

Welcome, NJ. There are a bunch of PP members who need a little help, so I'm not going to be too critical, I'll give you advice instead.
Using the image you submitted, start with with the Brightness and Contrast tool and increase the Contrast only. This will remove the bland appearance of the image. Your sky is fine. The snow on the rooftops, the rooftops themselves, and some of the buildings, may need to be toned down as they may be too bright. They are not lit by the street lights. The tower in the center looks a little sad but adding contrast may have helped. You need practice with your selection tool. You need to check your Help file for your program, or view videos on Youtube for selection tools with your program This will give you the skills you need. Also check how to crop an image, If you click down load you'll see the odd edges which need to be cropped. I'm giving you two thumbs as encouragement.

Click on download, Rathyatra, and you'll see the edges of your image need to be cropped. It's not obvious looking at the small image. This seems to have been a common problem. I don't know if members images were corrupted by uploading to the forum. If you cannot see it in your editing program it is occurring after upload. If you can see it, use your crop tool. Thanks for posting the comment.

I can see it to the right on the download - I am usually good at cropping but I slipped up on this one lol!

I went and saw that you have uploaded files in the past so obviously you know how to do it. So I am thinking in the past I also had a problem uploading and the problem was the file was to big. This site has a limit to file size. So if you can shrink the file size and retry. When I am doing Shakey's challenges the files get very large.

The file size is 11.4 mb. I don't believe that is too large. I get my file and when I click "add attachment" nothing happens. I have done this before without any problems.

I think that is to big. I am not to sure what the limit is. See if you can get it under 5mb

Sometimes just saving the file again under another name will fix the problem.

Here's Tallinn a port city in Estonia. It is night, the stars are out and the city appears dark. The Challenge is light the city and bring it to life by using the street lighting. It is night, the sky must stay dark. Zoom to 100% to see the stars. Imagine how the streets would look at night, illuminated by the street lights. There are street lights, out of sight, which are throwing light on the foreground. Remember the night sky and stars remain as you see them. Have fun.

Hi Shakey,

Missed a few of your challenges, but I'm back. Here's my attempt at meeting your photo editor's requirements.

Mike
