Nice, and I'll bet that dog seldom, if ever, leaves her side.

I am sure you are right Dave. I reacted to the situation and took the shot but afterwards it occurred to me that some animals have gone beyond being pets and beyond being fashion accessaries and become the whole reason for a persons existence. They have become living Barby dolls for adults. I think that is a little sad but it is not for me to say it is wrong. The temperature was mid 70's and the dog is wearing a wooly jacket that nature never intended. I was lucky the dog was looking at the screen and that gave rise to the title, as though it had somehow transcended being an animal.

I believe your right, and to add insult to injury, all dogs are temperate climate animals and are comfortable at temperatures that humans find chilly. Cats on the other hand like it hot.

It could be that little dogs like that seem to constantly shiver, however, given the temperature, a sweater does seem a bit extreme.

That shaking I always believed was nervousness not cold.

It was November but it was Southern Spain not that far from Africa and I was wearing a T-shirt so wrapping the dog up was not to protect it from extreme weather. Thanks for the comment Sue.

I wonder who taught the dog to read? I assume it is a text message. Really great timing the way the dog is looking at the phone. You got a winner with this one.

Looks like dog was thinking: Geez, we have not moved for hours, I'm sleepy.

You shouldn't underestimate animals Dragonfist, sometimes they know a bit more than we do. How do birds know where to migrate to? When I was at school there was a boy that liked to put others down by calling them 'Bird brain' One day the teacher came in and tipped a pile of twigs out onto his desk and said "Come on Bird Brain, show the class how to build a nest".
Thanks for the compliment anyway Df.
