So the fact that past presidents had affairs (Jack Kennedy, Bill Clinton) is irrelevant? However, Trump said "shithole" and he should be impeached for it?
No, not irrelevant. Sex is a problem for many men, including Martin Luther King, and I think LBJ, certainly Ike, and many, many other politicians, among many others. Probably, only Harry Truman is safe from criticism.
Many of these men were successful in politics or business or war (Ike).
In highly successful men, we take the bad with the good, and with less successful men and with unsuccessful men we take the bad with the good, too. Sometimes there’s no good to take with the bad.
Still, Tump’s lust and character strikes a new low and a very crude and vulgar low. In my eyes, he’s a shame to the nation, and a shame to manhood. Your opinion may differ, if you have lower standards.
A lot of people use language like ‘shithole,’ of course, but not a lot of Presidents. His crude use of language offends allies who help us in the war or terror, customers we’re trying to do business with, both as a government and as national businesses, and it offends black citizens whose vote he may sometime solicit, and citizens and entire nations around the world. It’s use cost much but gains little.
That’s what you get when you are saddled with a vulgar, tawdry, and crude president; it doesn’t pay, but we pay for it.
