Are those two Yongnuo's best units, V-Man? ... the YN-660 and their RF-603 flash trigger?

When I purchased them, these units got the most and best reviews, which is what prompted me to get them. I've had zero issues
after all this time. But from what I can tell, several other models of their TTL flashes are good too...just do your research and go from
there. To hedge yourself in case there's an issue, I typically use Amazon or B&H and pay with PayPal. There's usually a swift no-hassle
return process. (I've only had to go that route once.) But again, as these are "after-market" products, do diligent research so you can be as
confident as possible making your purchase. Good luck.

Would this work with Nikon or is this a Canon number? I have a D7100 and the GN of 200 intrigues me. Presently I’m using an old Sunpak 555 GN 150 (at ASA 100) that I had used with my FE2. Want something a really high GN. It’d be nice if it was TTL but that’s not a must-have.

I love SunPaks and have had several (622,555,544, and now the 522). I use them for my RB67 medium format work. The Yongnuo 660 would be a great flash for
your Nikon...just make sure you buy the one built for Nikon. It always lists which cameras they are for, when reviewing them on line. And remember the 660 is ALL manual, no TTL adjustments. Just do a diligent search of the models that would best suit the main types of photography you do. The D7100 is a nice camera.
