Exactly! I have never seen anyone using a Nikon D100 or a Canon EOS D30. They are gathering dust in junk drawers or museums.

Oh that hurts, I still use the 995 and D50. I guess I belong in a museum also :-).

So you bought one camera and used it until it died and then, reluctantly bought another and used in until it died. You never bought new gear because it had cool new features because you knew someone was gong to make a profit on it? You complain a lot about this, but Lightroom/Photoshop is a good deal.

ON1 is introducing a subscription plan. You don't have to join it to use the software you bought, but you will get upgrades for "free" ($49 the first year). Too bad.

Naw, to each his own Ron. After all, some people still drive antique cars.

Wow, I'm an open book. So much for keeping a low profile.

You must be thinking of someone else. I've bought new, used, and refurbished. When I get tired of one, or when something new comes along, I sell it and buy another. What I would not do is buy a camera a keep paying for it every month
