A holiday thank you

I just wanted to wish all those that post on the Street Photography section a happy and joyous season. The photos you all post mean a lot to me. I for better or worse am afflicted with severe emphysema. It puts a real crimp on my getting around much so a lot of my people watching is done through the pictures that you post. I look forward to this section every day. Voss and Sats are regulars and a couple of my favorites but you are all appreciated. Thank you so much for opening the world up to me. Best wishes to all in the coming year.
Dragonfist.

I second Dragonfist's good wishes to all those that post here and hope that 2018 is a good year for everyone.

I know breathing difficulties can be severely limiting and a bitch for someone that has led an active life. Being upstate is better in that respect than in any of the cities although cities are where most of the folk are that can be photographed. The hustle and bustle of cities can be heaven or hell depending on your state of health and your attitude. I am pleased you like the stuff I do, it encourages me to post more although I know that I do tend to get into the heart of the matter at the expense of the surrounding wider context and that is something that I am going to have to be more aware of in the future.

I am betting that you and the grandkids indulge each other to the full and that the holiday is a wonderful time for everybody.

It is nice to have fellow photographers out there that do post some incredible street images.
I agree, it allows some of us the opportunity to get out and around even though it may be difficult
at times. Plus we see scenes we probably wouldn't!
Thanks folks, keep posting.
Belated Merry Christmas and an early Happy New Year.

Thank you Sats. Yes in fact one is home on leave from the army, she leaves for Korea in January. Another one lives with us, she is 12 and the others are well spoiled also. I think that is in grandparents job description if I read the manual correctly.
