There is a really great quote attributed to Albert Einstein that goes ..."I never commit to memory anything that can easily be looked up in books."
I doubt you'd want to argue this was an individual who didn't care to learn.
"Imagination is more important than knowledge." - Albert Einstein and "Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything he learned in school." - Albert Einstein
If you type in photography cheat sheets into google it will pop up with some sites that sell them. They even have the for specific cameras. Several site like this popped up when I was looking to answer another members question last week about why they couldn't set the camera to see grid lines in the viewfinder of the D5100. Or you can take down the information and make your own. We have had several members who said that they made some that were credit card sized and then laminated them themselves and carried them aroud.

I have a commercially produced cheat sheet for each of my cameras. Great resource when you can't lug a manual with you.

Unless your mind is uncluttered, and deals with simplistic subjectivistic situations, I see nothing wrong with crib/cheat sheets attached to whatever to help the professional/amateur photographer to uptain the correct photo information to get the job done.
I do that stuff all the time. I think a checklist on camera settings before you take the shot is very helpful especially for us old guys. Damn it! where did I put those keys:-)
I've lost track of who people are responding to. I'm confused.
If I quote your reply or recognizable parts thereof, I'm replying to you. If i don't quote anything, its a general response to everyone, particular originator of the topic. If my reply is intended for an individual, I'll use his/her name. If I say something like "Semper Fi" only some will understand -and that's the way it should be.
