WOW seven pages of tips for cheat sheet, mine is easy you don't even have to write it down it's called AUTO (for automatic)setting, step two is Photoshop. Done.

Step three, just save yourself all the bother, and purchase someones elses photos that really know what they are doing.

Someone said it is all about light and composition and I would add angle to that. For me the challenge is taking a picture that is printed on flat paper and making it look like it has depth. You have to be pretty dam good to do this on Automatic setting. You should try it, it may just change your life.

quote=Jamers quote=cannie WOW seven pages of tip... (show quote)

Shooting for over 40 years, I have tried all the shooting modes, and admit on occasion I resort to the "P" automatic mode in changing light and other circumstances, that all comes with knowing ones camera. Being in the health care profession, I deal with change of life issues on a frequent basis, that's where photography comes in and helps me keep my sanity. :D

How bout' everyone else. Not the laminated general interest ones but what really works for you.

Take care one and all.

I'd help you if I could...After nearly a half century in the biz my sheets are in my head and on my bed....I do carry the little instruction manual for my 5DII in one of my bags. It is a poorly written, nearly worthless rag and I don't use it much anymore anyway...
Anything that helps you take better photos is a very positive thing.....I'm an old Navy photographer and we didn't call them "cheat sheets." They were sometimes called "poop sheets" but more often referred to as "shit sheets..."

Anything useful, that isn't general knowledge, would be camera specific. A 'cheat sheet' for a D700 wouldn't be of much use to a Canon owner.
