I ran a search on the site and found some old posts but how many here use and like flickr?
I do also. It's free for 1 terabyte and easy to use and organize.
No, it seems a vast pit of many talents. I shoot mostly for myself and friends and family, who are very kind.
I do not use Flickr. No desire to.

I recently joined but have not posted many photos.
I have used it for about six months. Found it easy to use for sending a set of images. There is a direct way to feed from LR which makes it easy to post. The only problem seems to be you get some very strange followers.
Did at one time. Stopped after finding my photos showing up on other sites being "borrowed" without permission.
Deleted everything.
Have not used in several years.
Use it as my external hard drive.

I use it when shooting products under florescent lighting.
I've been using it for about 9 years and like it because one can share large amounts of photos, post photos on forums directly from it, and get free cloud storage for your images.
Its good in so much that it is another way to back up your photos and you can enter them into different groups if that floats your boat. The thing that drives me insane is the fact that it can and is used as a kind of a cartel for nepotism. Some people somehow acquire thousands of followers which means that no matter how average their photos are they manage to get hundreds of " favourites" Ive seen a picture of a brick wall with 200 favourites and recently someone posted a picture of the sea from the side of a boat that a 3 year old could have taken which had somehow attracted over 800 people to mark it as a favourite. Its more or less impossible to take the concept seriously.
I do and it seems to suit me just fine
go ahead and take a look as the link is shown below
plus a couple of contests that I enter every year ask you to submit the photos through flickr--it is very easy to do

I'm on Flickr and like it. I marvel at the stunning photos that are posted by my friends and strangers.
You will see photos that are picked by "Explore Group" which generates thousand of views, numerous favourites and comments, as a result.
