Jerry, thank you for the link. I checked the connection going into the back of my computer and it was loose. I tightened it and my screen is now back to normal and hopefully will remain that way. Thanks for taking time to respond to my query.

Or all the time?
If in the morning and evening and not in the daytime, it's a setting in Windows, I think I saw it called "night light".
Since I never edit photos at night (incandescent light just isn't very good for that), I left it to that nightlight. It has been on for about 2 or 3 weeks now, and it seems I'm actually sleeping better! Want to see for another few weeks to make sure that holds true!
Have a look here: https://www.howtogeek.com/302186/how-to-enable-night-light-on-windows-10/
Does that happen in the evening and early morning?... (show quote)

Glad it was a simple fix. If it happens again you may want to check for a bent or broken pin.

My very nice, large Samsung computer monitor suddenly has a pink cast to it. Has anyone had that problem with their monitor? If so, any advice?

Thanks in advance.

I have a Mac. On my computer I have an option to turn on "Night Shift". Makes a lot of the screen pink - how pink depends on me. Maybe you have this feature enabled by mistake. Night Shift is easier on the eyes and is designed to let you sleep easier. It's the blue light emitted from monitors/phone screens that stops you sleeping easy.

Good luck.

Save it for Breast Awareness month. LoL

Seriously? You think breast cancer is an appropriate topic for which to make a bad joke? Either that was a stupid mistake or you are an insensitive boor. Your response will be the tell.
