My very nice, large Samsung computer monitor suddenly has a pink cast to it. Has anyone had that problem with their monitor? If so, any advice?

Thanks in advance.

By the title, I thought you were looking for a monitor with a pink screen.

You're not alone. You might find a solution here.

Have you recently updated any drivers on your PC?

Have you :

1) Checked you cable connections?

2) Updated drivers recently?

3) Hit your monitor with a baseball bat after reading an online newspaper and getting really upset over the idiocy that fills everything today!

These could all be related to that problem. Number 3 might just be a problem I am having.

I would recommend reseating the video cable on both ends after a shutdown.

Does that happen in the evening and early morning?
Or all the time?
If in the morning and evening and not in the daytime, it's a setting in Windows, I think I saw it called "night light".
Since I never edit photos at night (incandescent light just isn't very good for that), I left it to that nightlight. It has been on for about 2 or 3 weeks now, and it seems I'm actually sleeping better! Want to see for another few weeks to make sure that holds true!
Have a look here: https://www.howtogeek.com/302186/how-to-enable-night-light-on-windows-10/

You may be laughing about that, but as a breast cancer survivor, I don't think that's funny at all.

I had the same problem with a pair of new 28” Samsung ‘QLED’ monitors. I calibrated the monitors and it looked great for A few seconds than it reverted to a pink cast. Repeated the process several times with the same result. Called Samsung support they suggested changing the cables or returning the monitor. I wound up switching from HDMI to DP cables, restoring the monitors to factory default settings, deleteing the monitor and its drivers from windows 10, rebooting and letting the monitors reinstall. After that I recalibrated the monitors (again) and this time it has held the settings (so far it’s been good for about 10 days so I think the problem is solved). I don’t know which one or what combination of things fixed the problem, but I was getting frustrated and about to return the monitors and tried everything I could think of at one time. The factory default settings are far to bright and blue is far to low.

I laughed about an obviously not-intended-use for the monitor NOT the awareness program! I'm surprised you thought anything differently.

Most modern pc displays have multiple interfaces. Check your pc and monitor to see if there are other options. You may need to adapt the cable according to what the outputs on the pc or inputs on the monitor are. Good luck.

Dude! Seriously! The following two items do not belong in the same paragraph:

"Breast Awareness month"

"LoL"

That you came back and tried to defend it is ... highly insensitive... to put it mildly.

I think the OP was talking about a monitor color balance issue. It might be better if we stayed on subject b
