Btw, when in Rome, act like the Romans.

If you are truly interested in user experience with the 5axis IS, ask in the mu43 forum. Since the 5 axis IS came out in the original EM5, out of all the posts I have seen, I’ve never seen a negative comment about it. What is fascinating is how Olympus has been able to improve on the original. But no matter what anyone says, there is nothing like personal experience. Why not spend a few bucks and rent the body and a lens? Be aware that the em10 is the smallest omd body and it maybe too small in general or if matched with a larger lens.
His option that he came up with. br br Btw, when... (show quote)

Tom ... the one thing I'm pretty sure about, IF I go the MFT route (whenever that might be) is the lens - which will be the 12-100 ....

What I'm not as sure about - is which body - whether it be - the M-10 Mk. III (or II) or the EM5 Mk. II ... it seems all of them are as affordable as each other ....

It would look identical to the mark3

Oh, okay, then, Tom ... $449 ... to buy ... is probably about what a rental fee is, anyway ... and if I discover it's not for me, I can always give it to someone else ...

EM5 better IS and hi Rez feature to get 64mp raw files

Funny, Chris, that a guy like you, a pro, and with such a long list of digital cameras to his name, doesn't know where to look to avoid making statements like this which are just plain wrong. It's not difficult to check the specs of any digital camera, and you'll get shot down here very quickly for making statements that have not been verified.

Funny you should say that, Craggy ...

Because I got that straight from an Olympus Spokesman on an Olympus site !!!!!

That's exactly what he said / wrote ... there's no 5-axis stabilization on either of the M-10 Models ... only on the EM 5 II, and on the EM1 II ....

But, perhaps - he was making reference to the fact the Sony-assisted latest form of it - isn't on those two models ... that could well be ... what do YOU think?

Well, I'm certainly not gonna rent a Pen F ... can't be much more than that, to buy ...

Told ya, anyway ... I don't pixel-peep ... I need a VF ....

64MP, huh?

Thought it was 40MP on the EM-5 II ...

And 80MP on the EM 1 II ....

right, or not right, Tom?

No idea matey ! I'm a Fuji user, know enough about Sony to be dangerous, but DO know how to find the correct specs of any digital camera.

Why don't you learn too ? it's not difficult, and it might even help you.

Oh yeah, "lager and lime" days are long gone here ....... when did you depart these shores?

I just gave you an example of the prices. The PenF is a $1200 camera and has a nice viewfinder. New 20mp sensor, 80mp hi Rez raw files.

Yeah? ... me, too ... 4 Fuji dig cams, 4 Sony dig cams, 6 Canon dig cams, 7 Nikon dig cams, 1 Olympus, 1 Panasonic Lumix, 1 Pentax DSLR, Pentax MF film ...

If you're still going on about that 5-axis stabilization biz on an Olympus EM-10 Mk. II/III - I did indicate I got that info from an Olympus spokesman on their site!

But, as I indicated then, I suspect he was making reference to the latest incarnation of it ....

I don't think Lager and Lime was ever popular, here ... if you order it, they give you a Bud and a slice of lime!!!!

Not sure about the "departing these shores" remark, Craggy ... I've been back and forth several times now, since immigration in '58 at 10 ....
