Being a widower I eat all my meals out. Cooking shows is like watching paint dry.

Hope you're not resorting to McDs.

Haven't seen any of his shows for a while - BBC America has gotten extremely lazy in its programming with re-run after re-run - very boring! My go-to recipe for shepherd's pie is from him and it's delicious - I'm planning to make it for Saturday dinner.

I do like Gordon Ramsey, he used to come to where my Daughter in law worked and she said he was nice. I like his recipe books and use his Indian /Asia cookery books a lot...

The tv remote has an on/off switch and channel changer.. At least they do over here

I don't watch cooking shows, but people have told me that the Gordon Ramsey shows in England and the USA are a bit different. In this country, Gordon is known as the chef who screams and curses throughout most of the show, while he is much more calm in the English shows. I wonder why.

I've watched the show in both places. No difference except for the accents of the people he's "helping." Same show formula. Same behavior.
