Angels, I'm not much of a "birder" either, but rather an equal opportunity photographer. If I like it, I try to get an interesting shot. While the Bald Eagles are visiting, I would be missing a great opportunity if I didn't take a few shots.
Thank you very much for checking in and your generous comments.

Sylvia, thank you for checking out the bird pics, and comment.
I am very glad you like them.

Carol, you have a very kind assessment, and I agree the eagle feather would have been better to be sharper. That is primarily what I was shooting for. From my house, it only takes 15 minutes to drive out there and be shooting. If I get something interesting I will post them.
Thank you so much for your comments.

Gary, you and I tend to think alike about sharpness but keep in mind that sometimes the overall capture is more important and more pleasing that the degree of sharpness. I've taken quite a few eagle shots and never come even remotely close to the results that Regis gets consistently!

#2 is my favorite and nicely shot.

Hi Jeff,
I went down to the lake to get a few eagle shots, but I had more fun photographing seagulls as they dine on the spawning Kokanee Salmon. I also like #2. I took some more seagull pics this afternoon, and one more eagle.
Thank you so much.

Hi Swamp-Cork,
I'm glad you like the bird shots. I went out for some eagle pics, but had more fun with the seagulls.
Thank you.
