Here are a few images of patterns in nature. Typically, I like to get in close but for this submission, I chose a few images with diverse areas of view.

I will have to come back later. Internet is very slow (everyone cybershopping?) and is not uploading. Our provider says a pole has been knocked down, which is the source of the problem, and anticipate fixing it today.... Meanwhile, have missed a number of photo book deal deadlines (have 4 to do) and a few other things.

One from Missouri. This is a lightening strike on a golf course. Happened right in the middle of the 18th fairway.

Often when I'm out on hikes or in my yard I like to concentrate on seeing the patterns and designs found in nature. Whether its frost on a window, patterns in a spiderweb, shapes of plants, animal tracks in snow or mud, the play of shadow and sun on water.....I'm sure you can come up with some great shots. Looking forward to seeing what you creative folks produce.

Here's a few curvy things I have come across:

The photos posted so far are all really wonderful examples! This is a great subject for a challenge. Here are a few of mine.
