Often when I'm out on hikes or in my yard I like to concentrate on seeing the patterns and designs found in nature. Whether its frost on a window, patterns in a spiderweb, shapes of plants, animal tracks in snow or mud, the play of shadow and sun on water.....I'm sure you can come up with some great shots. Looking forward to seeing what you creative folks produce.

Here's a few curvy things I have come across:

I have enjoyed looking at everyone's entries in the challenges this past week. This is looking down from Steptoe Butte in Washington state. It is like looking down on a giant golf course.

Extremely nice image. We were there in June and really enjoyed our stay. The Palouse is a magical place....especially views from Steptoe Butte. Thanks for sharing.

Here are a few images of patterns in nature. Typically, I like to get in close but for this submission, I chose a few images with diverse areas of view.

On these Challenges I enjoy preparing for them by getting out for fresh stuff, often not what exactly corresponded with the subject but .....hey... Was out yesterday afternoon for a shoot...here's one

p1 Super image - so many hues of greens and such soft texture punctuated by the occasional darker clump of trees. Just wonderful
