... photo #1 is titled Autumn equinox and shows the sun rising down the middle of the road. Any history on that road? Was it intentionally built to go toward the fall (and spring) equinox sunrise? Does it follow property lines and did the original surveyor just pick that as his straight line starting point to block out all those property lines? Would be interesting to know....

Hey Duane, Wow that first shot is a real winner. If you look at the poster for "Close Encounters of the 3rd kind," your image is sooooo similar. Beautiful series.

Thank you for sharing this pleasing set of Iowa scenes, Duane. I find myself drawn to the Butler Center Pasture, which is a peaceful scene. All of them are well composed and have sharp focus.
