Plessner is correct. Very artistic in concept and execution.

Thanks very much Mike........I did copy Speilburg's idea in his movie, so I should not get all the creative credit!

In the movie "Schendlers List" there was one scene later in the b&w movie and it had a girl in a red dress. I was inspired to create this image remembering that very graphic image in the movie. Please download this one.
I'M not quite sure how to say this, but here goes, While the idea and the setting is good the execution leaves a lot to be desired. The first thing I noticed is the dress, on top of appearing too large for the young lady it also looks like she had slept in it. Next it looks like she may be wearing a sheer top under the dress, the color difference between her skin and what ever is quite distracting. The concept is fantastic!!!!!
I suggest reshooting with a dress that fits the model or a model that fits the dress and without the "under garment"
I made this mistake when doing a glamour session, everything was perfect or so I thought, then another model saw that the ankle straps on my subjects 4" stilettos were to big for her very slender ankles. Another time it was brown boots with a dark skirt.

Thanks Frank for the advice. I agree with everything you have said. I will speak with the young lady about getting better fitting clothing to be photographed in for our next photo shoot.

Thanks lwiley for saying "great image" about this one. To answer your question about the scarf: I shot a bunch of photos as the wind blew the scarf and had to toss out most of them. If you shoot enough you will get a good one or two. I had my camera on what I call "machine gun mode" and every time the wind picked up I started shooting away! Since you really don't know what the wind will do with the scarf, you almost have to do it that way. Just play the odds that 1 in 10 may come out ok.

Brent, thank you for your kind words. Your description of how you got the scarf reminded me of a time long ago when I was escorting a photographer around the Aerostar aircraft production and assembly facilities in Santa Maria for a brochure that management wanted, I asked him how many pictures he took and he replied, "I don't measure in shots taken but in feet of film stock." Just like you said, only in those days they didn't have a "machine gun" mode. That comment has always stuck with me.
