Abandoned Cabin That Cattle Have Taken Over...

Very nice shots; I especially like the colors and composition of #1. This cabin is a bit too rustic as it doesn't even have a decent floor.
Thank You Sirius however I do find you to be a little too picky!
Looks like it's in the middle of nowhere.Nice find.

Interesting set and compositions Jederick, not quite large enough for a family residence.
You are right Sylvias...two small rooms and loft that you shared with the dogs and vermin...but, it was a very quiet neighborhood!

Yes, and a long drive to anywhere for your basic daily needs. Thanks for stopping by Marty.
Nice shots, glad that the cattle found some shelter.
Looks like it will be standing for many, many years.Great shots.

Mike, many years ago the wife and I were driving on a back road through central/coastal California mountains. It was basically a hard-pack gravel road. A turn in the road brought us to a old deserted house with what once was a nice covered front porch. There were cows on the porch and looking out the front windows...it was a hot summer day and they were looking for shade.. We stopped and took several photos...later showed them to my M-I-L and told her we bought this place for a vacation home and were gonna fix it up! One day I'll go through our photo albums and look for those photos and post them.
Thanks for dropping by and commenting.

Maybe...you can see how the cattle have pushed out part of the door jamb while scratching themselves. Tried to show this damage in the first two photos. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
