Over the jetlag, settled back in. After driving in the US for 11 days, Paul is still in opposite mode. Putting the wipers on instead of the blinkers, wanting to veer right...the things we put our brains through...
Time to go through the photos, sort the keepers from the bloopers.
We had a great month in the US, lots of memories.

Thanks for the information, Peter, but does anyone really cares where it originated, lol. We never claimed to have invented it--we just adapted it & Aussie-ized it for the Sydney Olympics & it became very popular & a bit of lighthearted fun. Before the Olympics, I doubt if 5% of Aussies (me included) had even heard of the original Cornish version, lol.

Doesn't matter, unless someone is interested. It just reminded me of something from my childhood in the west of England, and I'm interested in background stories, and where things go.

Yes, in Sydney I probably attended about 6 nights of Track & Field in the Olympic stadium and it was indeed a very popular and very fun chant!
We even had an American bastardized version since there were so many Americans always in the atands.
It went......, Ozi, Ozi, Ozi, U-S-A...., LoL.
But it was all in fun along with the ever present WAVES!!! LoL
