What a beautiful start to the challenge.

Here is one I took a couple of years ago.
I saw this old farmhouse with old buildings that had been decaying for years but they were surrounded by these gorgeous wild sunflowers. About a month later we had the worst flood Colorado had seen for years which claimed this building.

Hello, Lorima!:> Firstly, I'd like to mention~how enjoyable its been to see the beautiful photos, being posted for your Challenge-'Leaves'... Well Done!
Now then~ Whilst looking-'seeing' the great submissions being post for this Challenge~by Zudith...your photo of the (old farmhouse...) stop me 'dead-in-my-tracks'! So, as with the case with 'Pat' and three of her photos~ I'd like to ask your permission to post my photo 'enhancement' of your most {wonderful and beautiful}original capture (?). And as the case with 'Pat', a (no), is fine and dandy-do, with me!:>~ CyberDave

Here are a few "surprises"... The first (the vase) is from today and the last is from earlier this month. The others were all Springtime.

Love the Columbines!! At my previous house in WV they grow wild all around the back door and driveway. I miss them greeting me when I come home.

We didn't have any growing wild nearby, so we have planted some in our flowerbeds, but to me they are so much more lovely growing wild!

I still teach fly tying to groups, scouts, and schools and enjoy it. We'll be heading for Canada for the winter here shortly.
