One day, a few years ago, I thought that maybe I should put together a photo book about "Beauty in Ugly Places". I had seen derelict buildings in the springtime, covered with beautiful blossoms and hoped to gather pictures of that type for my project. The book never happened, but the idea remains. This challenge is called "Beauty amid the Rubble", and I am hoping that you all have some pictures that evoke that idea to share in this challenge. Unfortunately, this is not springtime, so I have been finding more "Rubble amid the Beauty" than the other way around...Here are a few to get started!
This fits - a butterfly on a discarded can of beans...
Old hunting cabin with daffodils growing in the yard
This building is abandoned, but the flowering trees bloom each spring
Close-up of one of the trees in the previous photo
Good idea - I enjoyed these
My contribution
First I looked at this stuff.....
Then zoomed in my eyes...HUH Holy Mackeral
Thanks for hosting Zudith! Looks like a great challenge!

Looks like an old log...but it was from a huge tree that fell many years ago. Families come and have their pics taken on it.
Just a wet dandilion...
Of course I had to play with this one....
Old tractures that now have some plants around them
