Huh? It's not Buffalo Bob or Clairabelle.
Only us old people know Howdy.
Yes, it's Howdy Doody time.

Don't know him, but watched him a lot on TV years ago.

I had the night light, wish I still had it, imagine explaining to grand kids, do you realize that soon our country and westers music will have to be explained to kids, all the songs about pay phones, talking to the operator
I believe it's Howdie Doodie....Rich
Amazing how times have changed! Boy Howdy!!
You know, even as a kid in the late '50's and early '60's I thought Howdy Doody was kinda lame. Now the Mickey Mouse Club...that was real entertainment! Didn't each day have a theme? Seems to me Wednesday was Sci-Fi Fi or Fantasy Day...my favorite.
During a brief period when I was very young Howdy Doody, The Micky Mouse Club and Superman occupied a good bit of my time. Not relative to how much TV kids watch today, but still a few hours a week. Of course there was also Sky King, Lassie, Rin Tin Tin, Cisco Kid, Kukla Fran and Ollie, Romper Room, Kit Carson, and many others were on as well.

I think the actor was Kirby Grant. lol. Loved it
One of the more traumatic moments of my childhood was the final Howdy Doody show in 1960

I used to know what each weekday’s theme was, but have forgotten the matchup. There was a Guest Star day, Roundup/Rodeo or Western day, Circus Day. That’s about all my memory can handle. However, everyday was Annette day.❤️
