That opinion piece has been around for awhile and has made the rounds. It was originally attributed to the Baltimore Sun but it was not published by the Sun. The piece was written by Anthony Bryan who is a contributor to the American Renaissance a publication that mostly concentrates on racial issues. The article was originally titled "Ten Percent Is Not Enough". While parts of the article are certainly inflammatory, like it or not there is a great deal of truth in the article. Anyone that does not recognize that is a part of the problem and a racist. There are many, many black folks that agree with most of the article.

One of the most interesting things about the writer and the article is that much of the content and opinion was taken from the words of President Abraham Lincoln himself. That makes the liberals and racist (one and the same) shriek with rage. They just cannot handle it. But, it is true. Again, if you do not recognize that the piece has a great deal of truth in it then YOU are part of the problem and YOU are a racist.

I would like to believe that I am not a racist but that being said I am tired and becoming unsympathetic to problems blacks are having today when it seems like everything that happens that they don't agree with or like they scream "racist". Our leaders don't seem to understand just how tired their white subjects are with this experiment. They don't understand that white people aren't out to get black people; they are just exhausted with them. You can't legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. When half of the people get the idea that they don't have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation.

I see the issue is more of the government putting blacks back on the plantation. The government says do as you are told and we will give you crappy housing, limited food and you don't have to work for it. Just vote democrat all the time to keep the freebies coming. I hope that the latest trend I see is that blacks as a group are starting to say no and get education on their own merits etc. with no government intervention. This terrifies the democrats and they now eye Hispanics as the new slaves to the government largess. These last 8 years though were a huge setback to blacks and to integration. Race should never be asked or considered anywhere including the census.

Where are black leaders like Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson to denounce the 75% out of wedlock rates which leads to the downfall of blacks in the inner cities. Blacks are religious, so where are black clergy denouncing bad behavior and out of wedlock births. Blacks even had a black president for 8 years, did he point out the bad behavior, NO because it didn’t fit the narrative of: you are a victim, no matter how hard you try you will be up against White Supremacy, so you might as well give up and accept that the Federal Government as your father, who will take care of you.

When many blacks succeed in life, where is the media and Democrat publicity and support for them, none, because those successful blacks have proven that they will not be victims like Democrats want them to be and they have proven that they are productive citizens.

It will take black leaders, black clergy and inner city elected officials to drill home the solutions to bad problems in Chicago.
