You got some good advice. You mentioned great scenery and weather in Iran. How easy is it for an American to get a visa or whatever to get into Iran. I have lived past 6 years in Chad who Trump has now put on the same travel restriction travel ban list as Iran. So far it has not affected us here. I too am a physician surgeon assuming you are a dr Farzan physcian.

Hi colleague ! I,m a dentist in Iran yes from now on we have great climate here from swimming in Khalij Fars ( Persian gulf ) south , till chilling in Ardebil north west .

You should be able to mount the lens color forward or back on the gimbal head to balance it I've used a 500 mirror a thousand mirror the 70 to 200 zoom in the the 200 to 500 zoom and had little or no problem adjusting that so it balances perfectly

There are long adapter plates available that will allow balance with just about any camera/lens combination. Google B&H Photo.

Okay, the plates have 3 slots [mine does] use one of the outside slots, not the middle one. Then I will not hit your focus ring.
