I served in the Navy too. I thought about getting a tat. But when I found out that they were permanent, and would not wash off, I decided to take a pass.

Never had even the slightest desire to get one, or any piercings. I figured I came with all the necessary factory installed opening and didn't need to intentionally add any. I've accidentally put a few piercings in, but they've healed rather well.

Tattoos are so popular these days, I bet lots of you have one or more. Care to show us? No matter where it is! : )

I have none, mainly because I could never decide what to get, and I'd probably want something different after it was finished.

Tatooing can be overdone (and is, on some). I have no opposition to tastefully done tats. I have a small one on my hip, only visible when I wear a bikini (and I think those days are gone......LOL).

However, those males and females that have facial piercings that look like they fell in a well-equipped tackle box..........eeewwww............Nose, lip, cheek, tongue, eyebrow, ear................ick. Pardon me while I vomit.

Can’t think of a bigger waste of money.

I can. How about a dinner out? Only thing left after that expenditure is a pile of crap. Or how about an expensive bottle of wine? A tattoo is something you purchase and keep forever. JMHO

I have a cross on my left shoulder. Later I had a pendant made that looks exactly like my tattoo.

I always viewed my body as "a Temple" and I could NEVER imagine a piece of "body-art" that I would want fore-ever. I tell people that "so many folks are liked AUTOMATICALLY because the are good-looking (attractive) And life is easier for the BEAUTIFUL, just because of their good looks. I then go on to say that it probably isn't fair, but MY good looks Have always made my life "EASIER" Why screw-it-up?? Of course, you can see the PAINFULLY OBVIOUS humor in my statement, right? My body surely isn't an actual TEMPLE. HAH!!! RJM
I always viewed my body as "a Temple" an... (show quote)

Me and my pals had small five pointed stars done at the the LaPorte County Fair on a double-dog dare. We were all about 16 at the time. So we held out our hands and had the tattoo done on the web of our hand between the thumb and forefinger. I'm the only one of us left now and the dermatologist insisted on taking half my star claiming the other half showed signs of cancer. Who was I to argue? Now I have what's left - a three pointed star and a scar.

I hate to admit it, but I will in response to your Tatt "TOPIC". When-ever I see a tattoo, I think "STUPID"!! I can't help myself, It's my instantaneous reaction. "TATTOO=STUPID". It's as permanently imbedded in my brain as a TATTOO is permanent on the body. TATTOO=STUPID. RJM

and "TATTOO ON A WOMAN=TRAMP STAMP".....
