Absolutely not. I remember a guy I knew in Philadelphia who was given an unwanted tattoo by the Nazis.
Yeah, they did a lot of that.
Can’t think of a bigger waste of money.
I have one, on my left shoulder. My son is on the Autism Spectrum, so I have his name tattooed inside of a group of 4 different colored puzzle pieces. When I'm having a lousy day, all I have to do is look at my tattoo and I'm reminded that my problems are nothing compared to what my son has to deal with on some days.
I look at these prison shows and see ALL of the prisoners tatted up. And then I ask myself "do I want to look like them?" HELL NO. I find them to be an ugly distraction. And what do they look like 10 years later when they have faded and all run together?? Looks like one BIG birthmark.

Tattoos are so popular these days, I bet lots of you have one or more. Care to show us? No matter where it is! : )
I have none, mainly because I could never decide what to get, and I'd probably want something different after it was finished.
I am not a fan of tattoos, especially on women. My husband has two both are Marine Corp related. They have to be 40-45 years old. I'm sure when he got them the colors were very vibrant. Now, not so much.

Despite the sunglasses you are wearing in your avatar, I can see your manly good looks shining through. Maybe I'm using painfully obvious humor, too.
I fear that you were certainly obviously "HUMOROUS!!" HAH,HAH!! "MANLY GOOD LOOKS. HAH HAH!! Thanks for your response, humorous though it was.. RJM
I hate to admit it, but I will in response to your Tatt "TOPIC". When-ever I see a tattoo, I think "STUPID"!! I can't help myself, It's my instantaneous reaction. "TATTOO=STUPID". It's as permanently imbedded in my brain as a TATTOO is permanent on the body. TATTOO=STUPID. RJM

I have one on my right shoulder of Orca whales, which was a mural painted by Wyland, I met him at one of his studios, showed it to him, and he was impressed and said he had just gotten his first tatt, and said "we have to have our picture taken together"..he was very nice! I have one on my left shoulder, designed by me, in honor of my dad, it's a Scotsman, playing the pipes, in front of a Red Wings logo, all things he loved, I also have a beach, water scene around my entire waist!
Tattoos never did anything for me. I personally dont see the attraction, especially on women. We have a neighbor lady that is pretty well adorned and she 84 y/o. She had them done when she was in her 20's and they look like hell now. What once was I am sure a pretty rose is now a faded pink wilted flower strategically places on her left breast and her arms are covered as well. She told me she had others in a more private area but I declined the offer to look. She said she let the maintenance go as it was too expensive to have recoloring. ( I dont think coloring could help hers) LOL ! The young girls that get covered I think will be disappointed when they are older.
(dont even get me started with facial piercings ) Just my 2 cents worth.
I never wanted one but my buddy in the Navy was being pressured by his shipmates to get one . They kept on him and then started the rumor he was just plain scared of a needle , so he finally gave in . Not wanting a tattoo , he went to a tattoo parlor with his drunken shipmates , sat in the chair , picked out a design and told the tattoo artist to give him a tattoo but use no ink .
True story !
