Sad to say, I've never been there. Your photos are sobering and beautiful. Thanks.

Very nice photos. Interestingly there are two posts over the last couple of days that are historically connected. This one and the Bowden College windows. The connection being Joshua Chamberlain. He was a teacher of Rhetoric at Bowden, joined the Union Army and fought at Gettysburg. His tactics at Little Round Top prevented the southern army from flanking the Union lines. Went back to Bowden as President and then became Governor or Maine. Just a little factoid.

I think the mood & composition of these shots are very well done.
Well done. Unique pics from Gettysburg are difficult.
Excellent set, I think that sunrise photo is exceptional.
Cannons make such great leading lines. Walk Picket's charge -- imagine marching in the face of cannon fire.

Very nice. The sunrise shot is beautiful.
I've been to Gettysburg twice now. Riding the Harley around where soldiers once traveled on horseback is an amazing experience (rode there on horseback as well). You have to go there and travel around to the different sites to really appreciate and understand the magnitude of what happened there. The energy is totally amazing, very peaceful. My wife took the pic (yes that's our Harley in the background just to my right)....

These beautiful images portray a sad time in our history. My 3rd great uncle was killed on day #2 of the battle. Thank you for sharing your photos.
Great pictures. Like your composition a lot. I was just in Gettysburg a couple weeks ago and took a "ghost walk". The stories told are incredible. This time of year is a nice time to go too.
Thanks for sharing these amazing shots. We were in Frederick, Md. for a wedding, but couldn’t make time for the park. I will next time.
Wow!! I downloaded the first one.
Stunning photography! Well done.

The spousal unit and I did a four hour horseback ride around the battlefield a couple of years ago for her birthday (middle of August read: Hot), I would recommend it if you get the chance ...
Great images. One place I would love to visit.
