I think the whole image would not suffer from a little bit of brightening. I do like the smile of satisfaction of whatever it is she is seeing in the viewfinder.

I like the shot but bump the exposure, the darkness detracts from the shot. Well done!

I downloaded the image and ran it through PS Express' enhance pre-set on the iPad Air 2. OP has granted permission to post the result. All the pre-set does is lighten.

That is one heck of a difference John. Now you can see details in her hair and pants and the brighter image is a whole lot more pleasant. Thanks.
