I hope Trump supporters eventually see the dangers

The vast majority of ardent Trump supporters rarely respond with valid counterpoints in their rebuttal posts (i.e. "Flying Tiger's typically vile, childish taunts).

I beleive this is the result of providing his angry constituecy a national figurehead who panders to their anger. When Trump is finally impeached or forced from office due to the widespread affirmation of his mental incompetency, these supporters will be forever angry.

Trump's seriously incompetent "leadership" will doubtlessly leave the country forever dangerously polarized.

This is more fundamental than a liberal versus conservative issue

I didn't vote for Trump but I truly wanted him to succeed for the good of the country. I now see he can never succeed. His only "accomplishment" will be the ruination of this country's role as leader of the free world. In the process, Trump will have irreparably harmed the ability of our country's citizens to work together to face the nation's future challenges as "One nation, under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all"

Your comment, "I didn't vote for Trump but I truly wanted him to succeed..." is the attitude I wish a lot of those in congress would adopt. I wanted Trump to win the election because he was, by far, the least worst of the two candidates for whom we had to vote. The issue is that he isn't a part of the democratic party, nor is he a part of the republican party. So, he gets no support from either. He might be a great leader, but with all of the partisan politics at play, we'll never know.

Bob - You are correct in that Congress it totally obstructing Trump's every initiative. In many cases it is the denizens of the swamp we all want drained and removed. However, in some cases the opposition is from people of conscience who feel the best interests of the country are not being served either by Trump's questionable approach to major issues and the personal agenda of selfish elected officials. Few members of Congress qualify as "The Honorable Opposition".

John McCain has always been a maverick and I've often disagreed with his positions. Yet, in the sunset of his career he is proving to be a leader imploring these do-nothing Congresses to work together for the good of the country. I greatly his appreciate his efforts to make this happen and hope he inspires his peers to work together. He is not alone but they are the minority. I hope their ranks grow and that the anger of the citizens of our country is redirected from differing philosophies and towards ineffectual Congressmen.

Trump is smarter than the whole swamp of so called journalists. He spends 60 seconds sending out a tweet; meanwhile, every media outlet has a full time person monitoring tweets, because they no longer know how to actually leave the studio and get a story. Then, for the rest of the day, the liberal swamp fake news ponders what he said and in the evening they have panels of swamp dwellers discussing for an hour what were implications of his tweet. All for a 60 second tweet, I love it.

As you've demonstrated so well, Trump's core constituency will not or cannot see the true problem. I fear you've missed the point entirely.

Most Trump supporters are absolutely blind to the hyporacy of, and the damage done by Trump. They will always defend Trump; because like Trump, they create their own reality. Truth is not relevant.
No doubt, there will be evidence of this by responses in this thread.

You say the vast majority of Trump supporters rarely respond with valid counterpoints. That is hilarious. Why should they? People like you and the other liberal lemmings, and others with a nanosecond attention span are closed minded and those closed minds are already made up. One of your problems among many others is that you hate one person more than you love this country. That is an undeniable fact.
So here is a little test for you genius, since you seem to know all. You state President Trump is going to be impeached or removed from office. You sound like a dull broken record because that is what all you haters say when you are not calling him a racist. Since YOU have determined that President Trump will be impeached why don't you be the wise one that knows all things and tell us exactly why he will be impeached and what will the charges be. What is your proof? Substantiate your assertion that he will be impeached. Please share your inside information with us. On what grounds will President Trump be impeached? What laws has he broken? Tell us.

What damage has President Trump done. Be specific, provide examples and proof of that damage.

Valid counterpoints are often used to persuade and influence decision making. They are more effective in that regard than name-calling.

Truly pathetic that the POTUS feels that his brain-farts, AKA tweets, are worthy of consideration. Sadly his tweet spasms do real potential damage, since they substitute for thoughtful discourse. Trump should be limited to CAREFULLY SCRIPTED public appearances, and otherwise confined to the White House, without his cell phone. Then perhaps the adults could, after repairing the damage the fool POTUS has done, get on with the business of governing.

So, you are saying you are really smart but you act stupid because liberals are closed minded. I'll bet that doesn't even make sense to you.

I doubt that future presidents will emulate his twitter habits. Few can put everything they know in 140 characters. Kind of gives him the advantage on twitter. More available characters would just disclose how much he doesn't know.

Trust me, the lyin' SOB ain't a great leader!

A crook, yes, wildly incompetent and totally uninformed, correct.

About to be indicted...a very good chance!

I long to see the day.
